• Fraudulent links prompting individuals to redeem fake SG60 vouchers or National Day tickets, leading them to give away their personal and banking information or download malicious software.

• Phishing websites or fake online stores impersonating legitimate businesses, offering heavily discounted products as part of SG60 and National Day-related sales to trick individuals into making fraudulent purchases.

• Impersonation scams where threat actors may impersonate government officials or charitable organisations via emails, messages or calls, offering fake invitations to SG60-related events, false refund claims or soliciting donations.

Safeguard your personal information

Do not share personal, banking, or Singpass details unless the request has been independently verified. Government officials will never ask members of public to transfer money or disclose personal/banking details over a phone call.
